7.5 Electrical connection options - LZ 80

A connection cable (with a length of approx. 2 m) is routed
directly out of the electric cylinder (limit switch, motor, 2-
channel sensor). A PLC, for example, can be connected to
the connection lead.

Limit switches are to be connected upstream of the electro cylinder, so that a query
about the cylinder does not arise. Therefore, there is a risk of mechanical damage
without a limit switch query through your controller.
Limit switch loading I
The parking brake must be off or taken off before starting the motor!
We recommend the generator short circuit brake for braking the electro cylinder. This
can be achieved, for example, by switching the electro cylinder with appropriate relays
(designed for inductive loads of at least 20A).
The principle of the short circuit brake is illustrated in the drawing below.
