Tachometer Limit 2200
Digital tachometer/counter with optical non-contact reading. Align the laser sight on a reflective
tape or other contrast-acting target of the rotating object and read rpm (reflections per minute).
Alternatively, the number of counts (the sum total of reflections during the measurement period).
The measured value can be hold and register min-max and average. Supplied with reflective tape,
battery and manual.

START. Press the ON / OFF key. Press 3 seconds for manual off.
R/C. Select rpm or counting. RPM or COUNT is displayed.
MEASUREMENT. Aim the laser dot on a reflective marker or similar. The distance should be
between 50 - 200 mm and a maximum angle of 30 ⁰ to the measurement surface.
- RPM see Figure 1.
- Counting. See Figure 2. For longer distance than 200 mm, directing a light beam and turn off
the laser sight. Depending of the brightness the distance can be several meters. See Figure 3.
HOLD. Press the ON/OFF key to hold value. Release, press ON/OFF key again.
MIN / MAX / AVERAGE. Press M/M/A key for reading min, max and average.
SETTINGS. Press R/C for 3 seconds. Scroll with R/C button settings.
- Led. Select with M/M/A key. 1 = Laser sight on. 0 = Laser sight of.
- SR. Sampling rate setup. Select with M/M/A key from 5 to 255 milliseconds recording interval.
At varying and at lower speeds the reading more stable with a higher sample rate.
- AOFF. Select with M/M/A key. 1 = Automatic off after 9 minutes. 0 = Only manual off.
- CLK. Select with M/M/A key. 1 = Time display in minutes and seconds. 0 = Hours and
minutes.
Batteries. Unscrew the screw on the bottom lid for battery replacement. The battery indicator on
the display indicates low battery. Always store the instrument in a dry place. Clean with a soft,
dry cloth. Remove the batteries if the instrument is not in use for a long time.
