14.21 Lubrication
Lubricate the two front steering knuckles
via the two grease nipples on the front
axle.
Note
Before lubricating, the front axle
must be unloaded by supporting
appropriately.
The grease nipple must be cleaned
before lubricating, so that no dirt
enters the steering knuckle.
Escaping grease should always be
removed (wiped off) after
lubricating.
Use commercially available
lubricating grease.
Lubricating:
● Stop the engine. (
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
● Engage the parking brake. (
● Unload the front axle by supporting
(lifting) it.

Using a grease gun (not included in
standard equipment), inject grease on
both sides via grease nipples (1) until
small amounts of grease escape from the
steering knuckles.
● Remove escaping lubricating grease.
● Remove support for the front axle.

Observe the operating and maintenance
instructions contained in the attached
engine instruction manual.
To achieve a long service life, it is always
particularly important to maintain a
sufficient level of oil and to change the
engine oil and air filter regularly.

free.

● Store the machine in a dry and dust-

● Any machine faults must be remedied
