as the steam / coffee ready indicator
light (3) turns off.

Hot water immediately flows out from
the steam / hot water nozzle (6).

required amount of water, press the
coffee / hot water switch (13) and the
steam switch (12) again, then close the
steam / hot water knob (4).

1-cup (9) and 2-cup (10) filters and
the pod filter (18) after every use.
However, it is important that you
make sure that the holes are not
blocked.
• For best results, we recommend
that you warm the cups on the
cup-warmer (2), which only works
when the machine is switched on.
3–7. CLEANING AND CARE
Cleaning and maintenance are essential,
both to ensure the quality of the coffee
and the durability of the appliance.
The machine should be cleaned at least
once a week.
Before starting, unplug the appliance
and wait for it to cool down.
Use a soft, preferably microfibre cloth,
moistened with plain water. Do not
use abrasive detergents and do not
immerse the machine in water.
The removable parts of the machine can
be cleaned under warm running water.
Do not wash the filters and filter holder
in a dishwasher.
It is not necessary to clean the filters
after every use, just make sure the holes
are not blocked.
However, to ensure your machine
provides the best performance, you
should thoroughly clean the steam / hot
water nozzle and filter holder after each
use.
Clean the filter holder to remove greasy
coffee residues that can affect the taste
of your espresso.
Clean the outside of the steam / hot
water nozzle with a damp cloth and
dispense a small amount of steam
to eliminate any milk residues from
the inside as these could obstruct the
passage of steam, making it more
difficult to froth milk properly.
3–8. BACKFLUSHING
It is recommended that you do this at
least once a week and / or at least every
100 coffees brewed
