Perform zero calibration (see "Operation").

If there is chlorine dioxide present in the sample, transfer 25-
30 ml of the sample to the 100 ml PP beaker. Using the battery-
operated beater, force the chlorine dioxide out of the sample for
at least 5 minutes.
Empty the vial. Place two DPD chlorine dioxide tables No. 1 in
the square plastic vessel, crush using a clean stirring rod.
Fill with the chlorine dioxide-free sample up to the 10 ml mark.
Mix until the crushed tablets have completely dissolved. Now
add two DPD chlorine dioxide tables No. 2 and mix using a clean
stirring rod. Make sure not to crush the tables. Apart from a small
residual amount, transfer the content of the square plastic vessel
to the vial. Replace the cap on the vial and align the ∇ ∆ marks.

Press the ZERO/TEST key.
Test
The method symbol flashes for approx. 3 seconds.

The result is shown in the display in mg/l chlorite.
