Troubleshooting
Fault
System will not start.
The digital display is
not lit.
Fan is not running.
EN
Possible cause
Air handler circuit
breaker is off.
Digital control is turned
off.
Wrong wiring at
terminal strip.
Input-line voltage is
insufficient.
Push-on connectors or
butt splices are
disconnected.
The 8-pin display-cable
plugs are not making
contact (unplugged,
dirty, bent, or broken
pins).
The system does not
have enough power.
Fan is blocked.
Digital control unit is set
to cycling fan operation.
Failed triac on circuit
board.
Suggested remedy
Turn circuit breaker on at ship's panel.
Turn on the control.
Check wiring diagram and correct
wiring if necessary.
Check power source (shore/generator)
for proper voltage. Check wiring and
terminals for proper sizes and connec-
tions. Verify with a volt-meter that the
power at the unit is the same as at the
power source.
Disconnect power supply and open
electric box, check wiring diagram,
correct wiring if necessary.
With POWER OFF at the circuit breaker,
remove connector and inspect. If dam-
aged, replace connector or entire
display cable.
See "System will not start."
Remove blockage.
The fan only runs during heating or cool-
ing intervals. See chapter "Changing
between cycled and continuous fan
operation" on page 16 on how to
change the fan setting to continuous
operation.
