Operating instructions SATA filter 100 prep
2.2. Filter stage (B):
A filter cartridge in stage B filter separates tiny particles according to the filtration capacity
of the cartridge used.
Filtration capacity 0,1 µm: 99,998 % separation, relating to particles > 0,1 µm
2.3. Filter stage (C):
The activated charcoal filter unit, filter stage C, is identically designed as the filter stage (B).
The only difference is the filter cartridge which is installed in the activated charcoal filter unit
(Art.-No. 157362). When using an activated charcoal filter unit, please make sure that a
condensate separator and a fine filter stage is installed upstream.
2.4 Pressure regulation valve (D)
The pressure regulation valve (2) allows fine adjustment of the outlet pressure; maintaining
a constant pressure value with hardly any fluctuations.
The pressure regulation valve is equipped with a ball tap, connection thread G ¼.
2.5. Filter Cartridges
Typ:
Sinter filter cartridge
Sinterd bronze 5 µm,
surface area 100 cm²,
solvent regenerable
Replacement interval every
six months
Art. No. 22160
In case of extreme contamination, filters should be checked and, if necessary, replaced
more frequently. The sintered bronze filter and the filter housing tube (4, 7) must be clea-

Saturated filter cartridges bear the danger of functional defaults during painting resp. affec-
