commissioning and launching the boat
Fitting the battery
The battery is supplied ready charged. There is no need to re-charge the battery before the first use.
Before connecting the battery, make sure the power switch is turned to oFF.
Remove the lid, place the battery into the housing provided for this purpose (2) and connect it.
Turning on the remote control
The remote mX10 comes with a rechargeable high capacity built-in battery. Before using the remote control,
it is necessary to charge it first.
connect the supplied charger to the charge jack located on the right side of the remote.
The charging time is approximately 12 hours.
noTe: Whilst charging the remote control, ensure that it is in the «oFF» position (switch down). never turn
on the remote controle while it is connected to the charger.
once charged, the remote can be switched on. Push the main switch to «on» (switch up).
Setting up the bait tray
The bait tray is removable, slide it into the slots and secure it with the help of locking/retaining clips (16).
Turning on the boat
Before switching the main power switch to on, make sure that:
- The remote control is switched on, its antenna extended and that the battery charge level is satisfactory.
- The battery is properly connected to the boat.
Launch and operation of the vessel
Before putting the boat in the water, you should perform a preliminary test of the different working compo-
nents.
When first switched on, the motor will search for a connection to all other components which will take a few
seconds. During this time you will have no control over the motor.
If everything works correctly, proceed to launch.
Be careful not to run the engine out of the water for more than a few seconds.
Before using the boat, please read the operating instructions for the remote control.
It is strongly advised that before setting the boat with lines & bait, to practice operating the boat and remote
control to ensure that you understand fully how to control the boat.
We strongly recommend that you first use the boat in calm and shallow conditions, avoiding branches, rocks,
reeds and any other obstacles.
