Terms of use and Precautions
Waterproof
Inside the boat, the electronic components are protected from moisture.
make sure water does not enter the hull in large quantities or is submerged as the engine could short circuit.
Do not try to navigate the bait boat without the protective cover.
If water goes back into the hull through the propeller shaft this is because the lubrication is not sufficient (see
lubrication chapter).
After each use, be sure to dry the boat and make sure to store it out of it's storage bag with the cover open to
allow the inside to dry thoroughly. This will prevent corrosion of electrical components.
The remote is not waterproof and should always be stored in a dry place after use.
Battery charging and life
connect the Ac charger output to the battery.
connect the charger to a socket 220 Volts - 50 Hz.
The charging time is 12 hours for a 12 Ah battery (with 1000 mAh charger).
once charging is complete, disconnect the charger from the Ac outlet and disconnect the battery charger.
never leave the battery discharged, recharge it as soon as possible.
A fully charged battery retains its charge for 20 months.
caution!
never connect a battery to a defective or damaged charger.
Storage of the battery must be in a dry and frost-free place.
The battery contains extremely corrosive acid, in case of shock or impact, battery acid can leak and cause
damage.
Regarding usage time, the boat is equipped with a main battery of 6V-12 Ah, which provides intensive use for
up to 90 minutes.
To increase the battery life, do not run the engine at full throttle. moderate speed is more energy efficient thus
extending the battery life.
Additional batteries can be purchased separately.
A battery charge indicator is located at the back of the boat.
Flashing green LeD: battery full.
Flashing orange LeD low battery.
Flashing red LeD: battery empty.
Lead acid batteries are dangerous to humans and the environment, any old batteries must be disposed of with
an authorized recycling collection point.
Function of the fuse
The original fuse is 10 A is sufficient for a 40R speed controller.
The fuse is positioned on the circuit board inside the boat. To access the fuse remove the black cap.
The fuse only protects the throttle against any accidental stoppage of the propeller by a foreign body.
never replace the fuse with a higher amperage fuse. In the case of a blocked propeller, the fuse will not fulfill its
function and there is a risk of fire.
When the fuse no longer operates, only the boat's lighting works.
Attention, the fuse does not protect any other elements of the bait boat, nor against any reversal of polarity.
Reverse polarity will damage the electrical circuits with a high risk of fire.
