1.2 Explanation of the Rear Panel
This section provides an overview of the connectors on the rear panel. Specifications
for the connectors are contained in the data sheet.

AC power connector
The instrument is equipped with a universal power supply that accepts an AC voltage
range of 85 to 264 VAC at a frequency range of 47 to 63 Hz. No external switching or
modification of the fuse is necessary.
AC power switch
The AC power switch is located to the left of the AC power connector.
AC power fuse
The instrument is equipped with a fuse; see section 1.3.5.
CONTROL LAN
LAN interface for control and monitoring. A network configuration reset switch is
accessible through a small hole adjacent to the Control LAN connector. Instructions for
using this switch are provided at the end of section 1.5.1.
ALARM/REDUNDANCY
DB-9 connector provides an alarm signal should there be an alarm.
DATA LAN A/B
1 Gbps input for multiple MPEG-2 transport streams.
DATA SFP+
1 Gbps or 10 Gbps input for multiple MPEG-2 transport streams.
