Calling up device settings
Tap the display and then the
Set colour or B&W
Tap this button to switch between colour or black-and-white mode. In colour mode
you will see the
Adjusting the LED lighting
Tap this button to display two
the two LEDs on the underside of the testing device separately from one another. Tap
repeatedly in order to set the light power at 100%, 50% or 0%.
Switching measurement scale on/off
Tap this button to display or hide a measuring scale on the display. This scale is also
saved in the images. If the function is deactivated, you will see the
Display/hide automatic aperture control
You can use this button to switch the automatic aperture control on or off. If auto-
matic aperture control is activated, the device will optimise illumination of the images
automatically; if automatic aperture control is deactivated no automatic regulation will
take place. This is necessary if you also want to investigate dark areas better on test
objects with very differing reflection levels or high brightness differences. Position the
testing device over the object area to be inspected to obtain optimum exposure set-
tings, and then deactivate automatic aperture control. If automatic aperture control is
deactivated, the illumination you have configured will remain unchanged. If automatic
aperture control is deactivated, you will see the
