Avoid: 1) Overburdening 2) Bad, bumpy roads - 3) Fast acceleration - 4) Abrupt braking - 5) False division
of the cargo - 6) Incorrect fi xation of the cargo - 7) too long cargo - 8) Check regularly if your cargo is stuck
properly.
VERY IMPORTANT: Read the regulations well before the fi rst use. Our carriers have been fabricated, after
several years of study, with the greatest care and are guaranteed against production errors. WARNING: IF
FASTENING DOES NOT OCCUR ACCORDING THE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO THE ROOF OR
EVEN LOSS OF THE CARGO IS POSSIBLE. Car manufacturers can modify their models without providing
prior information. Therefore, there must especially paid attention to the suffi cient placement of the clamp
plates; on both sides, underneath a metal support which offers suffi cient counter-pressure when tightening
(especially on the back of 2 and 3-door vehicles). ATTENTION: how strong our carriers might be, the fastening
on your car depends of the strength of the attachment points of the vehicle. Check carefully if their counter-
pressure is suffi cient for the load which is transported. While mounting the carrier is done by the user, all
liability in case of incidents caused by false affi rmation on the roof is being rejected. –Check affi rmations
before starting to drive and again after several kilometers. Subsequently every 200 kilometers. - Consult your
car instruction manual for the permitted load of the roof and do not exceed this on your proportional
divided cargo. Herefore, count up the weight of the carriers (8 kg.) and additional load. – We recommend
to use the accessories for your cargo as determined (eg. bicycle carrier). - Adjust your driving behaviour to
the cargo - some goods (for example surf-boards, beds, shelves) catch a lot of wind and require special care
because of this: only use top-quality tie-down straps and avoid elastic luggage spiders - Use suffi cient tie-down
straps – Never drive faster than 90 km per hour - preferably use a tie-down strap from the cargo to the front
bumper. Keep these instructions for future consultation. To be used the product must not be damaged be kept
in good condition.
