CLEANING THE REGISTERS

To keep the validity of the guarantee it is mandatory to do the register cleaning by an technician authorised by Bronpi
Calefacción, who will write down the statement made.
It involves cleaning the ashes register of your stove
or insert such as smoke zones.
First of all you must clean the whole inside of the
combustion chamber, removing the inside plates
of the stove or insert because of the soot uses to
accumulate on walls and it difficult the thermal
exchange. To do it, you must unscrew the central
screw and remove the plates with caution. Then,
brush the surfaces with a wire brush to clean the
dirtiness (see drawing D36).
In models Agatha, Alexia, Alicia, Alicia Extra,
Clara Extra, Cleo Extra and Olivia Extra it is also
necessary to clean the heat exchanger chamber,
because the soot on the upper part makes difficult the smoke circulation. To access to this zone you must remove the ceiling of the stove and
then do the following operations:
- Unscrew the screws on each side of the cover on the top of the stove in order to access to the register. drawing D37.
- Remove the register cover unscrewing the two screws. drawing D38.
- Clean the ashes deposited on the top. drawing D39.
- Replace all the pieces and check the staunchness of the register.

Once the top is clean, it is necessary to clean the two registers (external and internal) of smoke, placed on the bottom of the stove. To do this,
it is necessary to open the stove door (see drawing D40) (depending on the stove model at the place of opening the door it will must remove
the frontal decorative plate in order to access to the register) and then, follow the next operations:
- Remove the external register cover unscrewing the different screws. See drawing D41
- Clean the ashes deposited on the register, descale the soot deposited.
- Remove the cover and clean the ash from the internal register (see drawing D42).
- Cleaning the extractor forks and case. Remove the extractor if necessary.
- Replace all the pieces and check the staunchness of the register.

In the insert model Neva, for the cleaning of the smoke zone, please remove the inside plates of the insert and pick up the rear plate (see
drawing D43). The registers placed on the bottom of the combustion chamber must be also cleaned, one on each side of the burner (see
drawings D44 and 46) and the register annex to the smoke extractor, which can be accessed from the rear of the insert, slipping the insert off
over the guides (see drawing D45). In both cases, follow the next operations:
- Unscrew the screws to remove the register cover.
- Clean the ashes deposited on the register, descale the soot deposited.
- Replace all the pieces and check the staunchness of the register.
