If something doesn't work
Before calling the Technical Service, please
make the following checks:
Fault
FOR ALL THE MODELS:
The touch control will not turn on or, when it is on, it does not respond

During cooking it suddenly starts to beep
The hob (or one of the hotplates) turns off during cooking

A hob turns off and the message:
Message U400 and the beeping signal
Continuous beeping, disconnection of control and symbol
80
Possible cause
There is moisture on the
sensors and/or you have
moist fingers.
The lock is activated.
There is a cloth, container
or some liquid on top of the
keypad.
The timer was switched on
and the programmed time
has elapsed.
There is a cloth, container
or some liquid on top of the
keypad.
One or several of the hobs
has overheated.
E2 is displayed.
The glass has reached an
excessive temperature.

There is an object or
liquid covering up the
touch control.
Possible solution
Keep the keypad surface
and/or your fingers clean and
dry.
Deactivate the lock.
Remove any object that is
covering the keypad, and/or
clean up any liquids split on
it.
Press the timer sensor to
deactivate the beeping.
Remove any object covering
the keypad.
Leave the overheated hobs to
cool down for a few minutes
before turning them on again.
Take the pan off the hob and
allow the glass to cool.
