Electronic Calibration Check
This window is used to check the measuring measuring heads calibration (or the value read
from several transducers including possible electronic corrections calculated and saved during
the zero and inclinometer full scale calibration).
In this window, as in all the windows in the calibration environment, data are only communicated
between the central unit and heads by means of the emergency cables.
The window shows the calibrator with the measuring heads fitted, each in its own position.
The data for the current check are displayed alongside each measuring head.
The values outside the tolerance thresholds are displayed in red, whereas the positive values
are displayed in green.
The following keys are active in this window:
- F1
displays the on-line "Help" function
- F2
returns to the previous window
- F5
moves on to the next step in the calibration check (for step-by-step performance of the
zero and inclinometer full scale calibration).
- F6
(only displayed after F5 is pressed), moves back one step in the calibration check.
- F7
provide the printout containing the data of the check performed
- F10 returns to the starting window.
Warning !
If some values are outside the permitted tolerance ranges the zero and inclinometer full scale
calibration procedure should be performed. Before performing the zero and inclinometer full scale
calibration procedure, it is always important to check that the mechanical calibration is correct.
Mechanical Calibration Check
This window is used to check the mechanical calibration of the measuring measuring heads (or
the value read from several transducers without the influence of possible electronic corrections).
- F5
moves on to the next step in the mechanical calibration check (for step-by-step checking
of the zero and inclinometer full scale calibration).
- F6
(only displayed after F5 is pressed), moves back one step in the mechanical calibration check.
- F7
provide the printout containing the data of the check performed
- F10 returns to the starting window.
Warning !
If some values are outside the permitted tolerance ranges, mechanical adjustments must be
made on the measuring heads. In this case, call the Technical Assistance.
This window allows the user to check that the measuring heads are working correctly when they
are fitted to the wheels of a vehicle.
The system allows checking of the angle read by the inclinometers, the angle and reception
level of the CMOSs.
