6. Electrical Connection
6.1 Checking the Mains Voltage
6.2 Potential Equalization
The ground lead (enclosed in the accessories pack) leads static charges of the machine
head away (housing of the controls).
–
Attach ground lead 2 to the motor.
–
Lay the ground lead.
–
Screw the cable bracket of the ground lead 2 onto the controls 1 with the screw.
ATTENTION!
All work on the electrical components of the special sewing
machine may only be conducted by skilled personnel who
have been trained accordingly!
The mains plug must be pulled out during work on the
electrical components!
It is essential to observe the operating instructions of the
sewing drive!
ATTENTION!
The range of the design voltage for the sewing drives is
190 - 240V 50/60Hz. The mains voltage must lie within this
range. Care is to be taken that the mains lead is protected
with a max. of 16A. (see Data sheet 9800 351006 DAT or
9800 331101 DAT)
ATTENTION!
The connection of the sewing machine to the mains must
occur via a plug connector.
