2) The letters MIG 2t will appear on the displays (ref.5-7 page 9) for 2 seconds.
3) Regulating the wire speed from the generator – Press the A/ wire speed button (ref.25
page 9) until the led A (ref.4 page 9) goes out. The A/wire speed encoder (ref.6 page 9)
may be used to set the wire advance speed from 1.4 to 16 metres per minute, shown on the
left-hand display (ref.5 page 9).
3a) Regulating the wire speed from the wire feeder – The A/wire speed potentiometer
(ref.41 page 10) is used to regulate the wire speed following the scale indications or
checking its value on the left-hand display of the generator (ref.5 page 9).
4) Regulating the welding voltage from the generator – The V/SET potentiometer (ref.8
page 9) is used to regulate the welding voltage, the value of which is shown on the right-
hand display of the generator (ref.7 page 9).
4a) Regulating the welding voltage from the wire feeder – The potentiometer V (ref.42 page
10) is used to set the welding voltage following the scale indications or checking its value on
the right-hand display of the generator (ref.7 page 9).
As regards the regulations from the generator or from the wire feeder, the last regulations
made will remain operative also at the time of restarting the machine.
5) Regulating the ARC TRIM Electronic Inductance. – Pressing in sequence the SET button
(ref.10 page 9) selects the ARC TRIM electronic inductance function led (ref.16 page 9).
The right-hand display (ref.7 page 9) will start to blink, indicating the letters At; with the V/
SET encoder (ref.8 page 9) you can regulate the value from –40 to +40%
