seconds; then for 2 seconds the displays (ref.21-22 page 9) will blink showing the
type of welding selected.
After 2 seconds of each regulation the panel prepares to show (display ref.20 page
9) and regulate the welding current A by means of the general encoder (ref.5 page
9).
DESCRIPTIONS OF THE REGULATIONS IN THE VARIOUS WELDING MODES
- ARC WELDING
1) Press the mode selection button (ref.4 page 9) until the Electrode mode led
lights up (ref.4A page 9)
2) For 2 seconds the display (ref.21 page 9) will show the letters
3) The weld enable led lights up (ref.2 page 9)
4) With the encoder (ref.5 page 9), the welding current shown on the right-hand
display A (ref.20 page 9) is regulated. The left-hand display V (ref.21 page 9)
indicates the generator output voltage.
5) The Arc-Force and the Hot-Start are already automatically regulated to have
optimum welding.
6) It is also possible to weld with alternating current by pressing the AC MODE
button (ref.19 page 9). To regulate the alternating current parameters, read the
descriptions on Activating and regulating AC mode page 12
7) If you want to work with a remote control (CAD), refer to the chapter on
PREPARING THE REMOTE/PEDAL CONTROL on page 20.
- TIG 2 TIME WELDING
1) Press the mode selection button (ref.4 page 9) until the Tig 2T mode led lights
up (ref.4B page 9).
2) For 2 seconds the displays (ref.20-21 page 9) will show the letters tig 2t.
3) Regulating the welding current -With the encoder (ref.5 page 9), the welding
current shown on the right-hand display A (ref.20 page 9).5) is regulated.
4) Regulating the slope down – Pressing the ST button (ref.8 page 9) selects the
time of the STope down. The left-hand display V (ref.21 page 9) will start to blink,
indicating the value that can be selected with the encoder (ref.5 page 9) from 0.1
to 10 seconds.
To view the set value at any time, briefly press the ST button.
5) Regulating the post-gas time -Pressing the PG button (ref.15 page 9) selects
the post-gas time. The left-hand display V (ref.21 page 9) will start to blink,
indicating the value that can be selected with the encoder (ref.5 page 9) from 0.5s
to 30s.
To view the set value at any time, briefly press the PG button.
6) Activating and regulating DC pulse – A first brief press of the F button (ref.17
