NOTICE
Loss of calibration accuracy
An unstable signal can arise due to contact problems. This results in luctuating zero
points, which lead to the loss of calibration accuracy.
Minebea Intec recommends that the stability of the measuring signal is checked
regularly.
Electronic corner correction allows the sensitivity of each individual load cell to be
reduced separately.
The resistor required here can be calculated using the following formula:

Calculated resistance
The following steps are necessary to minimize corner load errors:
1.
In the junction box, turn the trimmer potentiometer of the load cell with the largest
deviation until the displayed corner load is roughly in line with the average of the
other corner load values.
Note:
The trimmer potentiometers are factory set to approx. 5 Ω.
The trimmer potentiometers are located at the input of the load cell (Supply +) and
can be set in the range 0–20 Ω.
Turning the trimming screw clockwise corresponds here to a change in resistance of
+0.4 Ω.
2. Then check all corner loads and repeat the steps if necessary until the corner load
error is in the permitted range.
3. After that, recalibrate the scale.
