REMOVING THE VISOR
The visor is manufactured in scratch-proof polycarbonate.
To remove the visor, remove the two covers branded with the AGV logo, lifting the central notch with a
screwdriver (Fig. 13)
Pay utmost attention to avoid ruining the paint.
Then unscrew the side screws (Fig. 14)
Lift the big cover (Fig. 15 ) from both sides, paying attention not to lose the rotation-proof washer (Fig. 16)
ATTENTION: the two covers are marked with an L for the left side and R for the right side.
When dismantling the cover on the left, pay utmost attention not to lose the rubber rings on the 3 pins. (Fig. 17)
Then lift the visor to maximum opening (Fig. 18) and remove it from its compartment (Fig.19)
INSTALLING THE VISOR
To install the visor, you need to align the notches (Fig. 20) with the mechanism.
ATTENTION: the notches only align with the visor opened to the maximum.
Once in place, it can be closed and it will remain in place without slipping out.
For the left side position the cover so pin A enters in compartment B and the three circular compartments
correspond to the three pins equipped with rubber rings (Fig. 21)
Re-position the rotation-proof washer in place: it can be rotated so it aligns with the compartment below and
fully screw the screw back in (Fig. 22).
Insert the AGV branded cover by inserting the upper teeth in the specific compartments and press down until
the lower ones click (Fig. 23).
For the right side, the big cover should be positioned so the notch and the perforation on the cover are aligned
with the notch and the pin on the helmet (Fig. 24).
Re-position the rotation-proof washer in place, fully screw the screw and insert the AGV branded cover (Fig.
25).
Check the visor is working properly by completely opening and closing it a few times.
N.B. If the visor is not perfectly sitting on the rubber profile of the helmet, you may need to regulate or replace
the visor mechanical base. In this case, contact an AGV support centre.
OPENING/CLOSING THE FRONT AIR VENTS
The helmet is equipped with an air intake on the front of the helmet which can be activated by moving the
cursor upwards to open it (Fig. 26) and downwards to close it (Fig. 27)
REMOVING/INSTALLING THE NECK ROLL
To remove the neck roll, hold it on one side and pull into the helmet so the four buttons detach from the rear
support fastened on the layering.(Fig. 28).
To install the neck roll, align the pins in the helmet compartments and press until they completely click.
REMOVING/INSTALLING THE CHEEK PADS
To remove the cheek pads, hold the front of the helmet and pull them in the direction of the arrow to free them
from the automatic buttons (Fig. 29).
