The position of the plastic boot dish in the boot

Correctly placed plastic boot dish must lie directly on the boot floor.
Placing the dividing barrier in the plastic boot
dish (Fig. 5)
If you need to part the stowage space of the plastic boot dish,
push the dividing barrier in the respective groove in the boot dish
(according to the required size of the space).
If there is no object in the boot dish, insert the dividing ALU barrier
into the so-called stowage position (as close as possible to the
backseat rests) -arrow 1- detail.
Taking the plastic boot dish out of the boot
If you do not intend to use the dish, take it out (for vehicles Octavia
Limousine) from the boot of the car by lifting the dish to inclined
position (as shown in Fig. 2) and then take it out carefully.
In vehicles Octavia Combi lift the dish above the level of the boot
threshold and then push it out towards yourselves.
Advice. If you need to lift the carpet of the vehicle
boot, first remove the dish from the boot.
Never take the boot dish out if there are any trans-
ported objects or the dividing ALU barrier inside (it
might cause rupture or break of the boot dish, or
damage to to the protective tapes stuck on the exter-
nal sides of the boot dish)!

Place heavy articles into the boot dish as close as
possible to the backseat rests. If you have the dividing
ALU barrier always bear in mind that the ALU barrier
only serves for splitting the space of the dish. It is in
no case designed to fix the load in the boot. Always fix
the load with the straps or with the mesh to the
anchor loops of the bodywork.
Note. When the dish is inserted in ŠKODA Superb vehi-
cles, access to the lashing eyes on the vehicle floor is
restricted. As a result, the netting system for securing
transported objects cannot be used; there are straps
for this instead. First pull the straps loosely through
the lashing eyes on the vehicle floor, then insert the
dish in the luggage compartment. Once fitted, stow
objects in the dish and pull the straps tight.
