6.2- INSTALLING MOTOR WITH REVERSIBLE POLES
* Follow the indications in the motor guide.
* Every time the speed is switched, the motor will be at zero revolutions.
6.3- ACCEPTABLE START-UP FREQUENCIES FOR THE MOTORS
* For motors with a power less than or equal to 160 kW, no more than 6 starts per hour are admitted.
•
For motors with a power of over 200 kW, no more than 3 starts per hour when cold or 2 starts per hour when hot
are admitted.
• For more information see the documentation provided by the motor manufacturer.
7- ALIGNMENT OF PULLEYS
Aligning the pulleys can be done with the aid of a laser device, steel wire or ruler. Proceed as follows:
Before performing any operation in the moving part of the blower unit, check that the unit is shut
down.
7.1-TIGHTENING AND REPLACEMENT OF THE BELTS
We recommend you always replace the complete set of belts.
* Measuring the tension is based on the flexion force aimed perpendicularly at the drag rope.
* After two hours of operation, the belts must be re-tightened.
* The DN-50 / 80 /100/150 sizes only have a belt tensor located at the front part of the unit, and in the units with end o sure,
this can be accessed from the front doors.
* In size DN-200 there is a double tensor located at the front of the machine, that can be accessed from the front door in
units with cabins and another at the back that can be accessed by dismantling the rear panel of the enclosure.
* Sizes DN-250 and DN-300 also have double tensors that can be accessed from the side door of the enclosure.
* Parallelism of the two shafts is ensured if the wire of ruler touches the pulleys at
points 1,2,3,4 in a straight line.
