CARBON MONOXiDE HAZARD. Burning charcoal inside can kill you. it gives off carbon
monoxide, which has no odor. NEVER burn charcoal inside homes, vehicles or tents.
ALL iNSTRUCTiONS AND SAFEGUARDS ON THiS PAGE MUST BE FOLLOWED TO PREVENT
FiRE, DAMAGE AND/OR iNJURY.
Failure to read and follow instructions for lighting charcoal may result in serious personal
injury and or property damage.
WARNING: DO NOT use wood as a fuel source on this product.
Metal parts of the grill may be very hot while grilling. Always wear a heat-resistant glove
when operating dampers.
• Most surfaces on this grill are hot when in use. Use extreme caution. Keep others away
from grill.
• Always wear protective clothing to prevent injury.
• Keep children and pets away.
• DO NOT move grill during operation.
• Never substitute gasoline, kerosene or alcohol for charcoal starter. In some states, the use
of charcoal starter is prohibited by law. In this case, paraffin-based starter cubes can be
substituted for charcoal starter. Never use charcoal starter fluid with an electric starter.
Always light the fire with the grill lid open. Keep lid open until briquettes are fully lit.
After the grill has cooled down completely, it can be folded to allow the ashes to be easily dumped.

Note: The grate is coated with porcelain which is a fragile coating. Handle with care to avoid damage.
DO NOT cool the grate in cold water while it is still hot or the coating may crack. Let the grate cool off by
itself.
Do not build too large a fire. We recommend starting a fire with no more than 3 lbs. of charcoal
(approximately 56 briquettes) and adding more as needed during cooking. After allowing the fire to burn
down, place the cooking grate in the grill using heat-resistant gloves.
WARNiNG: NEVER start a fire and use the grill in the folded position.
When using lighter fluid, do not use anything other than lighter fluid intended for lighting
charcoal. Always strictly follow the charcoal lighter fluid manufacturer's directions for use.
