1. Place the product in a suitable rinsing basket carefully. In do-
ing so make sure the product is not touching other instru-
ments or parts of instruments.
2. Connect the irrigation connection of the product to the irri-
gation connection of the washer/disinfector.
3. Start a tested program with the following properties:
–
Thermal disinfection: 5 to 10 minutes at 90 to 93 °C
(with a tolerance in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17665),

≥ 3000.

– Final rinse with distilled or deionized water.
– Sufficient product drying.
4. If contaminants are still visible on the product after the end
of the routine, repeat precleaning and machine cleaning and
disinfection.

Check
1. Check the product for visible damage and wear:
– Damage to the product, e.g. cracks, rough surface, splin-
tering, discoloration.
– Damage to the product insulation and/or cable/connec-
tor insulation, e.g. cracks and breaks.
– Damage to the coating.
– Bending of the product or parts of the product. Do not at-
tempt to straighten bent instruments!
If damaged, do not use this product!
7.10 Assembly
1. Put the rubber seal on the electrode shaft.
2. Slide the needle electrode through the rubber seal into the
electrode shaft.
3. Turn the electrode shaft until the needle electrode is posi-
tioned in front of its bracket on the handpiece.
