3 FUNCTIONS

3.1 Basic functions

All CABERG JUST SPEAK functions are activated by using the three but-
tons, - + .
Every command is confirmed by a special tone. This can change according to the
function requested. The type of command given to the system depends on how
long the button is pressed.
Switch on Press and hold the
LED fl ashes and "on" tone is heard in the headset (high tone).
Switch off Press and hold the
shines steadily and "off" tone is heard in the headset (low tone).
Increase volume Press + button briefl y to increase volume. A high tone
sounds when maximum volume is reached.
Decrease volume Press - button briefl y to decrease volume. A low tone
sounds when minimum volume is reached.
Each of the three system statuses is indicated by a different LED flash pattern:
blue/red/blue LED: battery needs charging
Rapid alternating red/blue flashing: the system is in pairing mode and
can be detected by another CABERG JUST SPEAK kit or other bluetooth
compatible unit.
Slow blue flashing: the system is operative.
Warning: listening to the unit should not distract the
motorcycle rider from control of the vehicle. This has
absolute priority. In line with Highway Code guidelines,
the motorcycle should be stationary when making all
adjustments to electronic equipment and the CABERG
JUST SPEAK system.

Automatic Volume Control (AVC) technology.
The CABERG JUST SPEAK system features AVC technology. The volume
is regulated automatically, according to the level of external noise. It can
also be adjusted with the manual commands. Automatic volume regulation
(default setting) can be disabled by pressing the - button for 3 seconds (until
the double tone). The function can enabled again by pressing the + button
for 3 seconds, until the double tone.
Note: the activate/disable commands for automatic volume regulation
cannot be used while listening to A2DP music. Activate or disable the AVC
function before activating the A2DP.
Attention: listening at very high volumes can cause dan-
gerous situations by distracting the driver and making it
harder to hear external sounds.

using the system on the road.

3.2 Use with a bluetooth
CABERG JUST SPEAK supports Bluetooth
(Handsfree profile) enabling connection with cellphones, GPS navigation
systems and other Bluetooth
offers both profiles, the system automatically chooses the one to be used.
For the CABERG JUST SPEAK system to function with a cellphone, the
phone must first be paired with the CABERG JUST SPEAK system.
