12 Disposal

If the electrical appliance is no longer to be used, it must
be handed over to the shop or to the special collection
point of the relevant public waste disposal authorities
(recycling centre, materials recovery centre etc.).
The electrical appliance must not be disposed of via the
residual waste bin.
This also applies to electrical appliances that were last
used in the non-private sector, e.g. in branches of trade or industry.
In cases where public waste disposal authorities do not accept elec-
trical appliances that have been used for non-private purposes, their
waste advisory services can provide information on environmentally
sound disposal.
Packaging
When disposing of the packaging, make sure you comply with the
environmental regulations applicable in your country.

13 Two-year guarantee

With regard to all deficiencies which are caused by material or man-
ufacturing errors, we offer you a two-year guarantee for this product
from the date of purchase. If a deficiency of this appliance occurs
within our guarantee period, we will, at our discretion, either repair
the faulty product or provide a replacement. These services are only
provided against presentation of the receipt.
Keep the receipt for proof of the date of purchase.
In case of repair or replacement, the warranty period will not be ex-
tended.
Excluded from the warranty is damage as a result of improper use,
insufficient care, normal wear or interventions by non-authorised
bodies.
Deficiencies which only slightly affect the value and serviceability of
the appliance are not covered by the guarantee.
Wear parts (such as the cutter head) are excluded from the warranty.
This manufacturer's guarantee does not affect your contractual and
statutory claims in your country. In the case of a claim under the
guarantee, please contact our service centre.
