SERVICE MANUAL

6. FUNCTIONS AND CLEANING

·
We recommend disconnecting the juicer from the power be-
fore cleaning.
·
Do not wash the juicer with direct jets of water and/or at high
pressure.
·
The parts in the squeezing zone of the juicer should be cleaned
every day (cups, balls, squeezing tray, filter tray, cutting blade
and front cover), following the cleaning instructions.
·
The juicer produces citrus juice with pH no higher than 4.5,
and it is therefore not considered to be a potentially hazard-
ous foodstuff.

6.1. START-UP

·
Choose the cup and ball size in accordance with the size of
the fruit to be squeezed. See chapter on Accessories.
·
Switch on the juicer. The oval display and Auto and Play/Pause
buttons will flash for several seconds. When the Play/Pause
button remains on, this means that the juicer is ready to start
juicing.

Service Manual
·
The juicer has two operating modes:
-
Play/Pause mode: Press the Play/Pause button to start
squeezing, the oval display will light up and the Play/Pause
button will flash on and off. To stop squeezing, press Play/
Pause again. The oval display will switch off and the Play/
Pause button will flash on and off.
-
Auto mode: Press the Auto button to start squeezing.
The juicer starts to work when the photocell detects the
presence of fruit and will continue to work until there is
no more fruit or until any of the buttons are pressed. The
oval display will light up while the juicer is squeezing fruit
and the Auto button will flash on and off. When the juicer
stops squeezing, the oval display will switch off and the
Auto button will flash on and off.
-
If the juicer stops because there is no more fruit, it will
start squeezing again when more fruit is placed in the
hopper track.
-
If Auto or Play/Pause are pressed, the juicer will stop
working and the fruit will remain in the hopper track.
To start juicing again, just press the Auto button.
It is important to ensure the optics of the photocell are kept
clean to ensure it can detect the presence of fruit (Fig. 2).
The juicer default mode is set to the Play/Pause mode.

6.2. STOPPING

The juicer can be stopped as follows:
·
By pressing the Play/Pause or Auto buttons, depending on
which mode the juicer is working in.
·
If the juicer does not detect fruit, the squeezing cycle it is in
will end.
·
By switching off the juicer at the power switch.
