In order to connect 2 cables with each other:
1. insulate both cables (see H 9),
2. pull a shrink hose of approx. 20 mm length over a cable (see H 10),
3. twist both cables around each other and solder (see H 11),
4. push shrink hose over the solder joint and slightly heat up (see H 12).
Cable laying from the camera to the monitor
Lay the system cable from the camera to the monitor (see H 13).
Connect the camera connecting cable with the connecting cable (see H 17).
Insulate the plug connection with the supplied seal strip (see H 17 and H 18).
Fasten the cable safely in the vehicle in order to avoid it getting caught
(risk of dropping). This can be done by using cable belts, insulating belt
(see H 15 and H 16) or by sticking with glue.
Begin with the sealing of the openings only after all adjustment work at the camera is
concluded and the required lengths of the connecting cables are determined.
Required parts for the cable installation from the monitor to the camera
see H 13 to H 19.
Use for the sealing of the plug connector the attached or a comparable
self-vulcanizing seal strip.
Tip: In order to minimize corrosion in the plug, we recommend you to apply
some grease, e.g. pole fat into one of the plugs.
Further extension cables can be obtained when needed from your dealer or from
