1. SECURITY MEASURES

Follow these measures and warnings when using the car seat and keep the instruction manual during the entire period of use.
- WARNING: This product should only be used on a seat facing forwards that is equipped with an automatic, three-point seat
belt, compliant with the ECE R16 Regulation or similar standards
- WARNING: The LIONFIX car seat must be anchored properly with the seatbelts even when not in use as, in case of an accident,
it may be catapulted and cause injuries to occupants in the vehicle.
- WARNING: This product is compliant with European safety measures (ECE R44/04) and is ideal for use in Group I (9-18 kg),
Group II (15-25 kg) and Group III (22-36 kg).
- WARNING: Remember not to use the car seat in vehicles equipped with a front airbag, unless it can be deactivated, in which
case you must check with the manufacturer or check with your vehicle's dealership.
- WARNING: NEVER carry the child in your arms or out of the car seat while in the vehicle.
- WARNING: It is recommended that you install and use the car seat in the back seats of your vehicle for increased security.
- WARNING: Never take the child out of the car seat while the vehicle is moving.
- WARNING: It is extremely dangerous to use other seat belts or contact points besides those described in the instructions and
those recommended to restrain the child.
- WARNING: Make sure the car seat restraints and anchor points are secured to the vehicle correctly, as well as the child's
restraints are tight agaisnt their body and the seat belts aren't twisted.
- WARNING: It is important to make sure the lap belt is correctly placed, against the pelvis.
- WARNING: The rigid and plastic parts of the car seat must be placed and installed in a way that avoids damage from daily use
of the vehicles, such as getting stuck between a mobile seat or the door of the vehicle.
- WARNING: Before driving, check again the car seat is installed correctly.
- WARNING: Do not modify or try to modify the car seat in any way. It is dangerous to make alterations or add parts to the seat,
as well as not following carefully the installation instructions.
- WARNING: Do not use the car seat without the upholstery. It should not be replaced for another one not recommended by
the manufacturer.
- WARNING: The car seat's restraint system must be replaced when it has been through substantial strain after an accident.
- WARNING: Do not place the car seat on a seat where the frontal airbag is activated.
- WARNING: Make sure to secure any luggage or other objects that may cause injury in case of a collision.
- WARNING: Do not leave the child in the seat unattended.
- WARNING: Do not use the car seat if the child weighs less than 9 kg.
