2.13.b Catalytic converter
The exhaust system includes cat-
alytic converters to reduce harmful
exhaust emissions.
WARNING
The exhaust system reaches
high temperatures after run-
ning the motorcycle. To pre-
vent the risk of fire or burns:
- Do not park the vehicle near
materials that can pose a
fire hazard, such as grass
or other easily combustible
materials.
- Park the vehicle in a place
where there is no danger
of pedestrians or children
touching the hot exhaust
system.
- Check that the exhaust
system has cooled down
before carrying out mainte-
nance work on it.
- Do not run the engine at
idle even for a few minutes.
A prolonged idle that can
cause heat build-up.

2.14 ACCESSORY PARTS
AND USB SOCKET
WARNING
The accessory connected to
the USB socket should not
be used with the engine off,
and the load must never ex-
ceed 12W (1A), otherwise the
fuse could burn out and the
battery discharged.
2.14.a To use the USB socket
- Lift the guard (1).
- Connect the accessory to the socket
(2).
- When the socket is not used, reposi-
tion the protection correctly.
