2.14.c Side stand (optional)
ATTENTION
The kickstand is designed to
support the WEIGHT OF THE
MOTORCYCLE ONLY.
Do not sit on the vehicle us-
ing the stand as a support;
breakage could occur result-
ing in serious personal injury.
ATTENZIONE
The motorcycle MUST be
placed on the side stand
ONLY AFTER the rider has
left the vehicle.
ATTENZIONE
A safety sensor is positioned
on the motorcycle that does
not allow the motorcycle to
be started, with the stand
down.
When the stand is lowered
with the motorcycle running,
the engine stops.
The side stand is located on the left
side of the frame. Raise or lower the
kickstand (1) with your foot while hold-
ing the vehicle upright.

DANGER
Do not use the motorcycle
with the side stand down.
If the side stand does not re-
main raised, it is necessary
to contact the nearest Italjet
dealer for repair.
Periodically check the correct
functioning of the side stand
and the correct functioning of
the safety sensor that blocks
the starting of the motorcycle
with the stand down.
