How to unlock the buttons
Make sure the hob is on. Hold down the lock button to unlock the buttons.
Warning
When the hob is locked, all buttons will be disabled, except the On/off button, so you can turn
off the hob with this button in case of emergency, but you should unlock all buttons when you
turn on the hob again.
Timer
You can set the timer in two different manners:
You can use it as an external timer. In such case, when the timer finishes, none of the
-
cooking areas will turn off.
You can set it so one or some cooking areas turn off once the time expires.

The maximum time is 99 minutes.

The timer display will show the time in minutes.

Use of the timer as an external timer

If you have not selected any cooking area:
Make sure the hob is on. Press the timer button and the timer indicator will flash. Set the

time by using the - or + buttons of the timer.
Press the - or + buttons at once to cancel the timer and the time display will show - -.

When you have selected the desired time, the countdown will start immediately. The

display will show the remaining time and the timer indicator will flash for 5 seconds.
When the countdown ends, it will beep for 30 seconds and the timer indicator will show - -.

Tips
Press the + or - buttons of the timer once to increase or decrease the time in 1-minute
-
intervals.
Hold down the + or - buttons of the timer to increase or decrease the time in 10-minute
-
intervals.
If the setting exceeds 99 minutes, the timer will return automatically to 0 minutes.
