Set the time by using the - or + buttons of the timer.

Press the - or + buttons at once to cancel the timer and the time display will show - -.

When you confirm the timer, the countdown will start automatically. The display will show

the remaining time and the timer indicator will flash for 5 seconds.
When the countdown ends, the corresponding cooking area will turn off automatically and

the display will show H, indicating it is hot.
Note:
The red dot next to the power indicator will light up to indicate you have selected the area.

If you wish to modify the time after setting the timer, you must start with step 1.

Use of the timer to turn off more than one cooking area

If you use this function in more than one cooking area, the timer indicator will show the

lowest time. For example, if in the cooking area 1 you set a time of 5 minutes and in the
cooking area 2 you set a time of 15 minutes, the timer indicator will show 5.
When the countdown ends, the corresponding cooking area will turn off. The display will

show the new timer and the dot on the corresponding cooking area will flash.
When the countdown ends, the corresponding cooking area will turn off automatically.

Note:
The red dot next to the power indicator will turn on, which indicates you have selected the

Protection against overheating
This hob includes a temperature sensor which can control the temperature in the ceramic hob.
When the temperature is too high, the hob will turn off automatically.
Residual heat warning
When you use the cooking hob for some time, this will maintain the residual heat after its
operation. The display will show H to warn you.
Auto-off
Another safety system is the auto-off. It will be active when you forget to turn off a cooking
area. The auto-off times by default are shown in the following table:
