5.1 Fill the solution containers
Chemical exposure hazard. Obey laboratory safety procedures and wear all of the personal protective
equipment appropriate to the chemicals that are handled. Refer to the current safety data sheets
(MSDS/SDS) for safety protocols.
Chemical exposure hazard. Dispose of chemicals and wastes in accordance with local, regional and
national regulations.
The solution in a filled container starts to flow when the quick-connect fitting connects to the container cap. To
prevent a leak, make sure to connect all tubing first, then install the solution containers.
The solution containers have flexible sides and automatically fold as solution drains from the
containers. Pull the sides of the containers apart to expand the containers. Fill the containers with the
applicable solution. Use only the solutions that are specified for the Clean & CAL pH Mount. Refer to
Parts and accessories
correct rack location to make sure that the deionized water can flush the other solutions from the
manifold assembly. Refer to the illustrated steps that follow.
5.2 Connect the LED to power
The LED in the manifold assembly comes on and stays on when connected to power. Use the USB
cable to connect the LED to AC power or to the battery pack.
