PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
3.1
Loading pellets
The first operation to perform before switching the stove on is to fill the fuel (pellet) tank using the relevant
scoop.
Do not empty the bag directly into the tank to avoid introducing sawdust or other foreign elements that
could prevent the stove from working properly and avoid scattering pellets outside the tank.
Be sure to close the lid of the tank well after loading the pellets. A safety switch (only for models
where provided) checks that it is closed correctly and alarms the stove if the lid is left open for
more than one minute with the stove running.
The pipe for pellet loading must act exclusively as a ramp to fill the stove hopper and not as an
extension of the hopper itself; avoid loading more pellets than the hopper can hold.
3.2 Electric power supply
Connect the stove to the mains power, operate the ON switch on the back of the stove, positioning it to "I" .
If the connection is correct, the stove emits a series of intermittent acoustic signals and the display lights
up.
For long periods of inactivity, it is advisable to disconnect the stove from the power supply
completely.
3.3 Initial configuration
OPERATION WITH ROOM SENSOR ON STOVE
Set this configuration to switch the stove on and off manually or with a program.
The stove will modulate the power according to the ambient temperature read by the probe on board.
It is possible to set the "Eco-mode" function so that the stove switches off or on again according to the set
room temperature.
In this configuration it is also possible to set the anti-freeze function, which will work with the timer
enabled.
OPERATION WITH EXTERNAL THERMOSTAT
Set this configuration when the stove is controlled by a room thermostat (or chronothermostat).
In this configuration the stove switches off when the room thermostat is satisfied.
The antifreeze function cannot be set in this configuration either.
The connector terminals are located on the back of the stove.
The first time, following the installation of the chronothermostat, the stove must be switched
on manually while the chronothermostat is in the "called" state. This operation is also neces-
sary in the event of a power failure or if the stove is switched off manually.

the stove timer (set to OFF).
