Adjusting the DPS antenna
IMPORTANT! Adjust the DPS antenna only if it is neces-
D
sary to alter the factory-set standard position (±0 degrees)
NOTE! Measure the angle with an electronic inclinometer
and set the same angle on the tripod, before the antenna
is removed from the box.
Undo the two bolts (E) and their bushings (F) underneath
the DPS antenna tripod (D).
Remove the center bolt with the aid of a socket wrench
(½" drive) and set the same angle on the tripod.
NOTE! The bolts (E) and the bushings (F) cannot be
reinstalled after adjustment from the standard position.
Tighten the center bolt using a torque wrench.
Tightening torque 100±15 Nm.
IMPORTANT! At the base of the DPS antenna there is an
arrow. This arrow must always point towards the bow (see
illustration).

When the cable run is finished, expose the cable wires by
carefully removing the shrink tubing at the cable end.

Hold the wire approximately 25.4mm behind the terminal
pin. Hold the back edge of the connector with the rubber
seal toward you, as illustrated.
NOTE! The back of the connector is numbered for 6 con-
nector pins. (6 poles).
13.
Connect the cable wire pins according to the cable colors
in the table below.

Press the connector pins through the rubber seal and in
to the connector housing as illustrated, until the stop latch

clicks.

When all wires are in place, the stop latches must be
wedged. Press the wedge (G) and seal ring (H) into the
connector as illustrated.
