Operating Instructions SATA LPS R 2000, SATA LPS RB 2000 RP, SATAminijet 1000 A S HVLP
Adjust the material flow
Damage to the nozzles due to incorrect material flow control
Using the material flow control for dosing can cause wear in the noz-
zles.
→ In normal operation, open the material flow control [1-1], [2-1] to the
full extent.
→ Use the material feed pressure to adjust the material flow. Only use
the material flow control to adjust the material flow for very small mate-
rial flow rates.
→ Select the fluid tip size according to the material and working speed.
Adjust spray fan pattern
Only present in SATA LPS RB 2000 RP and SATAminijet 1000 A S HVLP.
Use the round/flat fan control [1-6], [2-4] for fully variable adjustment
of the fan width within the preselected air cap setting until a round fan is
achieved.
Adjust the spray fan pattern by turning the round/flat fan control:
■ Turn to the right: round fan
■ Turn to the left: flat fan
Start spraying process
Note!
When painting, only use as much material as is required for the specific
procedure.
When painting, maintain the necessary spray distance (see chapter 4).
After painting, store or dispose of the material correctly.
■ Adjust spray distance
■ Ensure there is sufficient spraying air feed and material supply.
■ Use the control air to trigger the control pulse for painting.
End the spraying process
■ Switch off the control air.
If the spraying process is finished or a longer spraying break is planned,
■ switch the spraying air off after the material supply.
