IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be
followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that you outlet voltage corresponds to the one stated the mixer rating label.
3. Do not operate the Hand/stand mixer with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunction, or if dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest
authorized service center for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
4. Do not leave the mixer unattended while it is operating.
5. Do not let cord hang over an edge of a table or counter or hot surface.
6. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put mixer in water or any other liquid.
This may cause a personal injury or damage to the product.
7. Avoid any contact with moving parts. Keep hands, clothing, as well as spatulas and
other utensils away from beaters during operating in order to reduce the risk of injury to
persons and/or damage to the mixer.
8. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is used near children or infirm
persons.
9. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or on a heated oven.
10. Never eject beaters or dough hooks when the appliance is in operation.
11. Unplug from outlet while not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before
cleaning.
12. Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
13. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
13. Remove the beaters from mixer before washing.
14. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of children.
15. The appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards
involved.
16. Switch off the appliance before changing accessories or touching its moving parts.
17. Children must not play with the appliance.
18. Always unplug the appliance from the wall outlet if it is left unattended and before
assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
