gas cylinder unit so that it can be connected to a gas cylinder. Put the control knob back after inserting
the burner.
4.2. Preparing for use
4.2.1. Inserting or replacing the battery
The fire pit features a piezo ignition and is powered by one AAA battery. You can insert or replace the battery as
follows:
-
Make sure the fire pit, ceramic woodlogs and lava stones have cooled down completely.
-
Make sure the fire pit is not or no longer connected to a gas cylinder.
-
Next to the control knob is a smaller black button on the control panel. This is the ignition and this
contains the battery.
-
You can now unscrew the black ignition counter clockwise and insert the battery into the ignition, paying
close attention to the +/- side. Then close the ignition again.
-
After frequent use, the battery may run down. Have you replaced the battery? Then return the empty
battery to a collection point.
4.2.2. Placing the lava stones and ceramic woodlogs.
Once you have positioned the fire pit properly, you can place the lava stones and ceramic woodlogs in the
burner. Lava stones are included with every fire pit. Take the lava stones without grit by hand, otherwise the
burner holes may get clogged. Carefully place the lava stones in and on the burner. Keep the ignition unit free of
lava stones and ceramic woodlogs.
After placing the lava stones, grab the ceramic woodlogs from the packaging. Three ceramic woodlogs are
always included with the Cosibridge 140. It is recommended to place the ceramic woodlogs on top of the lava
stones. Position the ceramic woodlogs as follows:
If you wish to order additional lava stones or ceramic woodlogs, you can do so with the seller.
4.2.3. Inserting or replacing the gas cylinder
Have you purchased a gas cylinder with the correct dimensions (see point 6. 'Technical specifications')? Then
you can connect the burner's gas pressure regulator to the gas cylinder. This is done as follows: fit the gas
pressure regulator to the gas cylinder. Tighten the nut of the gas pressure regulator by hand, not with other
tools.
You can then place the gas cylinder in the gas cylinder unit of the fire pit. However, this is not mandatory. You
can also choose to place the gas cylinder outside of the device.
-
Inserting the gas cylinder into the device
1.
Underneath the fire pit is a gas cylinder unit. Open the door by pushing the top left corner.
Always place the gas cylinder upright on the steel frame. The gas cylinder must never be placed
lying down or tilted in the device.
