3.7 SEED LEVEL IN THE HOPPER
The level of seed in the hopper can be easily controlled by the
operator from the driver's seat by checking the indicator (Fig. 30).

Use of the loading (or hopper inspection Fig. 31) platform is only
consented when the planting unit is at a stand still, the wheels
must be standing on level and stable ground (preferably cement).
Ensure that the safety foot has been secured using the appropriate
security pin. There may be one or more safety feet on the planting
unit depending on the model.
3.9 SOIL SCRAPERS OF TRANSMISSION WHEELS
The transmission wheels of the seed drill are important and essen-
tial for sowing and are equipped with adjustable soil scrapers (A,
Fig. 32) that allow the wheels to be kept clean and so guarantee
homogeneous distribution of the seeds. To obtain a good result,
periodically check the distance of the soil scraper from the wheel.
3.10 ADJUSTMENT WHEEL TRACK ERADICATOR
The tractor must be positioned in alignment with the tractor wheels.
To adjust their position, unscrew the nuts (A, Fig. 33) position the
track removers and lock the nuts. To adjust the depth of the trace-
breaking teeth, unscrew the locknuts (B, Fig. 33) and the screw (C,
Fig. 33) after having adjusted, tighten the screws and the locknuts.
