Test/diagnosis interface RS232 (jack connector (1)) is used exclusively by ABICOR BINZEL. It is located on the left side
under the cover.

6.6 Connecting the device

1 Close off the gas supply and bleed the line slowly.
2 Detach the insulating hose at a suitable point and connect it to the gas supply line (16) and gas discharge line (6).
3 Fix the shunt (9) to the welding current cable or ground cable.
4 Connect the shunt connector cable to the measurement shunt connector (12).
5 Establish the Ethernet (10) and CANopen (11) connections. (Only for EWR 2 Net if desired)
6 Connect the power supply (14) and check if the display (17) and LED status display (2) are illuminated.
7 Turn on the gas supply and check for leaks. Turn off the gas supply as needed and note the instructions in the following
chapter:

Press the power button for approx. 2 seconds to switch the device/regulation function on or
off. Press the power button briefly to leave the menu without saving (similar to ESC key).

Use these buttons to change the settings (values) in the menu options. The up button is also

Use these buttons to scroll between different actual value displays and to scroll within the
current menu level.
