Do not transport the machine with the combustion engine
running. Switch off the combustion engine and only
transport the machine when the combustion engine is cold
and without fuel.
The petrol should always be lifted by two people. Use
loading ramps, lifting devices.
Protect the water pump and its parts carried with straps,
cables, etc. Never transport the petrol water pump with
loose parts.
Carry the machine with a suitable trailer or on a suitable
loading surface, and not in the passenger compartment
(e.g. trunk) of a vehicle.
When transporting the machine, in force regional
legislation must be respected, in particular that concerning
the load being transported and the transport of objects on
loading surfaces.
Ensure that the machine is only used by persons who are
familiar with the instruction manual.
Check the leak tightness of the fuel system,
particularly visible parts such as tank, tank cap and
couplings. In the event of leakage or damage, do not start
the combustion engine. Have the petrol water pump
repaired by an official dealer.
Before operating the water pump, replace damaged and
worn-out parts.
Check that all nuts and bolts are properly tightened. It is
important to inspect regularly the equipment in order to
ensure safety issues and a good performance.
Before start-up, to ensure you work safely with the petrol
water pump, you need to check if:
▪ The whole machine is assembled correctly;
▪ The safety devices are in perfect condition and function
properly. Never operate the equipment if the safety
devices are missing, damaged or worn out;
▪ The tank, fuel line components and cap are in perfect
condition;
▪ The engine oil filler cap is properly tightened.
Make all adjustments and work necessary. If you have any
questions or difficulties, contact your official dealer.
Observe the local regulations on the hours when it is
allowed to use machines with a combustion engine and the
permitted noise level.
Keep third parties away from the water pump's area of
operation. Never work while animals or people,
especially children, are in the danger zone.
During operation, the water pump may never be lifted,
pushed or pulled.
The control and safety devices installed on the machine
must not be removed or inhibited.
Work only in daylight or with good artificial lighting and do
not work with the petrol water pump exposed to the rain,
thunder and, in particular, under the danger of lightning.
Use the machine with special caution when working near
slopes, ditches and wells. Keep a safe distance from these
hazardous places.
In case of nausea, headaches, sight problems (eg.
reduced vision), hearing problems, dizziness and
reduced ability to concentrate, stop working immediately.
These symptoms may be caused by high exhaust gas
concentration.
The combustion engine releases poisonous gases as soon
as it starts running. These gases contain toxic carbon
monoxide, a colourless, odourless gas, as well as other
harmful substances. The combustion engine may never be
started inside confined or poorly ventilated spaces.
