1. Set the choke lever to the right to CHOKE position;
2. Place the throttle lever 1/3 of the way between positions,
from the right;
3. Pull the recoil starter (3) slowly until you feel some
resistance, then release it gently;
4. After about 10s, set the choke lever to the left to RUN
position.
Do not set the choke lever to CHOKE position if the
engine is warm or the air temperature is high.
5.
1. Place the throttle lever to the right.
The engine rotation speed is set using the throttle lever.
With the throttle lever in the "START" position, the engine
runs at maximum speed. As the lever is moved closer to the
"STOP" position the engine speed will decrease.
Before any maintenance or cleaning work, lay the
water pump down on a level surface, switch off the
engine and remove the spark plug cap from the spark plug.
All maintenance/repair work requiring the opening of the
engine may only be carried out by the brand's own
technical service department.
Do not run the engine with low oil level as this can
cause serious engine damage.
1. Place the water pump on a firm and steady floor;
2. Remove the oil filler cap (cap + dipstick) (11);
3. Check oil level indicated on the dipstick (11);
4. If the level is low, add oil (15W40) until the appropriate
level is reached;
Change the oil:
5. Remove the oil drain plug and empty all the oil;
6. Tighten the oil drain plug and add new oil;
7. Check the oil level and top it up to the correct level.
1. Loosen the fixing bolts and remove the air filter cover (2);
2. Blow the filter element out with compressed air until it is
completely clean;
3. Fit the filter element and assemble the other
components in reverse order of disassembly.
Using a dirty filter will restrict the air flow into the
carburettor affecting the performance of the pump.
