Spectrophotometer NANOCOLOR
If necessary, clean or dry the cuvette slot and the adaptors with a
soft, lint-free cotton cloth. Do not use sharp objects or brushes for
cleaning to prevent damage to mechanical components. Liquid
that has leaked into the cuvette slot is drained off through a hole
in the bottom of the instrument. In general, the cuvettes used and
the photometer must always be kept clean. Contaminants in the
cuvette slot can influence the measurement and lead to incorrect
measurement results. The cuvettes used can be cleaned with the
enclosed special cleaning cloth.
Wipe the outside of the device with a damp cloth. Use water or a
mild detergent. Then dry the device with a soft cloth.
1. Disconnect the device from the power supply and place it
upside down on a soft surface.
2. Remove the lamp cover screws on the bottom of the unit (see
Fig. 5: View from below, page 13) and remove the cover.
3. Remove the connector plug from the lamp board and loosen
the retaining screw of the retaining bracket of the lamp socket.
4. Remove the old lamp socket and insert the new lamp socket
using the guide pin and fix it with the retaining screw.
5. Connect the connector plug with the contacts and close the
lamp cover carefully with the appropriate screw.
Incorrect measurement results due to not performed lamp
calibration. The halogen lamp must be recalibrated after a lamp
change.
