Setting spindle speed and rotation direction
Never change the direction of rotation, as long as the motor / spindle is not
at a complete standstill! Changing the direction of rotation during operation
may lead to the destruction of components.
The correct spindle speed is important for safe and satisfactory results and for maximizing tool life.
To set the spindle speed correctly, do the following:
Determine the optimum spindle speed for the machining task in question and

Set the machine control so that the required spindle speed is actually reached.

Spindle speed selection
The machine can be operated within two speed ranges (L, H).

Set the adjusting knob spindle speed to the lowest setting at each start.
Failure to observe this warning will result in damage to the engine and
loss of warranty!
To switch on the machine set selector switch rotating direction (1)
to position "L" or "R" and push the on button of the On-Off-switch
(2).
Set with the selector lever speed range (1) "L" or "H".

The spindle speed can be continuously selected by turning the
adjusting knob spindle speed (2).
The speed is displayed on the speed display.
