Check that the safety devices are in perfect condition and working properly. Never use the lawn mower if
the safety devices are missing, damaged or worn out;
Replace defective parts, as well as all other used and damaged parts;
After the accessories' assembly and before using the tool, test at full speed without load for a while. Check
for moving parts misalignment or any other condition that may affect the tool operation. Check that all
moving parts rotate smoothly and without abnormal noises;
Make all adjustments and work necessary for the correct assembly of the lawn mower. If you have any
questions or difficulties, contact your official dealer.
Take into account the municipal regulations about the hours at which the lawn mower is allowed to be used
and the permitted noise level.
While operating
Keep third parties away from the operating area of the lawn mower at least 15m away. Never work while
animals or people, particularly children, are in the danger zone. When using the lawn mower, fragments may
be projected at high speed which may cause injury.
Also keep a safe distance from objects (vehicles and glass) in order to avoid material damage.
When two or more people work simultaneously in the same area, safety distances should be kept to avoid accidents
and injuries.
Work only in daylight or with good artificial lighting. Do not use the lawn mower at night or whenever it is not
possible to have a clear view of the working area.
Never work with the lawn mower in bad weather conditions such as dense fog, rain or strong wind, storms or
lightning.
When using the lawn mower, put yourself in a stable position and always keep your balance.
Keep all parts of your body away from the cutting accessory while using the lawn mower.
Always wear personal protective equipment and clothing. Wearing a visor or goggles, dust mask, hearing protection,
anti-slip safety shoes, long-sleeved clothing, gloves, shin guards and helmet properly reduces the risk of injury.
Clothing worn during use of the machine must be adequate, tight and closed, for example, a work boiler suit. Do not
wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
When working, always wear resistant footwear with a non-slip sole that fully covers the foot.
In case of nausea, headaches, vision problems (e.g. reduced field of vision), hearing problems, dizziness,
reduced concentration capacity, stop work immediately. These symptoms can be caused by too high
concentrations of exhaust gases.
The combustion engine produces poisonous exhaust gases as soon as it starts working. These gases contain toxic
carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas as well as other harmful materials. The combustion engine must
never be operated in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces.
When operating the machine, plan breaks and avoid operating the machine for long periods of time. Permanent
vibrations are harmful to health.
Never try to remove the stuck material in the cutting accessory and its guards while the engine is running or the
cutting equipment is rotating. Stop the engine and wait for the cutting accessories to stop before removing the stuck
material around the blade axis.
