INTENDED USE.
This ladder is designed and intended for domestic
use (non-professional). This ladder is not a toy.
Children should be supervised at all times to ensure
they do not play with the ladder. Only use the ladder
as described in these instructions. Any other use
is deemed improper and may result in damage to
property, personal injury or even death.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.
In order to use this ladder correctly and safely,
read this user manual carefully. This user manual
must be stored in good condition. Before each
use, check the following control list:. Check if the
ladder has worn, loose or missing parts. Check if
the user stickers are on the ladder. Check if the feet
or stabliser are fixed properly. Check if the feets or
stablizer feets are weared. Check if the ladder and
locks can operate properly. Check if all locks and
hooks are in a good condition. Check if all rivets are
in a good condition. Check if there are ladder parts
affected under corrosion. Check if the instructions
are in a good condition.
BEFORE USE.
Before using this ladder, check if all locking
mechanisms are working properly. If the mechanisms
are not working properly, do not use the ladder.
Wear tight-fitting clothing, remove jewellery and
tie long hair back when using this ladder. Always
wear suitable footwear when climbing this ladder;
flat, dry, treaded, shoes with securely tied laces are
considered appropriate footwear. Ensure that the
surface you will rest this ladder against is capable
of supporting the combined weight of this ladder,
operator and any carried objects. Doors (but not
fire doors or similar), windows and areas of entry/
exit should be secured when using this ladder. All
distractions should be reasonably avoided. Always
set up this ladder so that it is always freely accessible.
Ensure that you are fit enough to use a ladder.
Certain medical conditions or medication, alcohol or
drug abuse could make ladder use unsafe. When
transporting the ladder on roof bars or in a truck,
ensure it is suitably placed to prevent damage.
Inspect the ladder after delivery and before first
use to confirm condition and operation of all parts.
Visually check if the ladder is not damaged and safe
to use at the start of each working day when the
ladder is to be used. For professional users, regular
periodic inspection is required. Ensure the ladder is
suitable for the task. Do not use a damaged ladder.
Remove any contamination from the ladder, such
as wet paint, mud, oil or snow. Before using the
ladder at work, a risk assessment should be carried
out respecting the legislation in the country of use.
POSITIONING AND ERECTING.
Ensure the ladder is fully closed, all locks are
secured and the ladder is free from contaminants
before moving to the area of work. Only erect
and close the ladder in a safe work area. Do not
move the ladder when erected. The ladder shall be
erected at the correct position, such as the correct
angle for a leaning ladder (angle of
approximately 1:4) with the rungs or treads level (for
example, 1 meter away from the base of a wall if
extended to climb 4 meter up). The ladder shall be
on an even, level and unmovable base. A leaning
ladder should lean against a flat non-fragile surface
and should be secured before use, e.g. tied or with
the use of a suitable device. The ladder shall never
be repositioned from above. When positioning
the ladder, take into account the risk of collision
