Switching on the appliance
. Switch on the appliance using the rotary switch and set the required power level.
● The green indicator lamp lights up.
● Setting range: Low number = low power, high number = high power,
Overheating protection
● Overheating protection is installed in the hotplates. Thereby, damage is prevented.
● The overheating protection switches the heating off in the event of insufficient energy consump
tion (there is no cookware on the cooking surface, or the cookware is empty).
● Never leave empty cookware on the hotplate.
. After removing the pot or pan, turn the rotary switch to "0".

Application instructions
● For optimum energy transmission, only use cookware with level and thick base.
● Only place cookware and bakeware on the clean glass ceramic cooking surface!
● Immediately remove contamination through salt, seasoning, water and food remains on the cook
ing hob.
● Place dry cookware on the hotplate. Do not place any wet, steaming saucepan lids on the glass
ceramic cooking surface.
● To keep food warm or to melt fat or butter, use only low power settings.
● Do not reduce the heat by moving the pot but by using the rotary switch.
● If the contents of the saucepan are boiling, turn down to a lower heating level.
● Close pots with lids if the cooking process permits.
● Use high-sided pots for dishes with lots of liquid to prevent them boiling over.
5.
Completion of operation
. Turn rotary switch to the 0 position.
● The indicator light goes off.
. Clean the appliance - see the following 6. "Cleaning and Care" chapter.
. Switch off the electric main switch upstream of the appliance, or disconnect the mains plug.
CAUTION! Hot surfaces, hot objects!
Risk of burning!
. Wear protective gloves!
. Use pot holders!
. Exercise appropriate caution!
