• The machine on which the control unit is installed must comply with the safety requirements
established by the European directives. This is guaranteed by the presence of
the Conformity Declaration from the Manufacturer of the machine on which the control unit is
installed.
WARNING
• Do not feed the control unit with water at a temperature higher than 40 °C (104 °F) or lower than
5 °C (41 °F).
• In case of use at very low temperatures, make sure there is no ice inside the control unit.
• Do not feed the control unit with salty water or water containing impurity. If this occurs, run the control
unit with clean water for some minutes.
• Carry out the checks scheduled by the routine maintenance.

a) Turn the lever (9) to
b) When the pump has primed, turn the lever (9) to
c) Turn the wing nut (7) clockwise ("+" position) to increase pressure; turn it anticlockwise ("-"position) to
decrease pressure. The pressure value can be read on the pressure gauge (5).
Note. The GRV 2V/4V control unit is equipped with a (proportional) positive-displacement regulation
valve for pressures from 0 bar (0 psi) to 20 bar (290 psi) and with a constant-pressure regulation valve
for pressures from 20 bar (290 psi) to 50 bar (725 psi). The remaining control units dealt with in this
paragraph are all equipped with a constant-pressure regulation valve.
d) Turn the tap lever (10) to
herbicidal bar, etc.) that corresponds with the tap.
Note. The VR 10, VR 15, Hydra, VR 20, VR 40 and VRS control units do not feature built-in taps.
e) To start the anti-dripping eddy device (on HPR and GRV 2V/4V models only), turn the
by-pass/pressure lever (9) to "
Note. The anti-dripping eddy device only works on accessories which feature the corresponding tap on
position.
