Malfunction
pH of water circulated
briefly exceeds 10.
pH at outlet is below 6.5
after an extended period of
operation.
pH at outlet is constantly
greater than 10 or less than
6.5.
F – Maintenance and cleaning
1. Basic guidelines
Caution!
To ensure correct long-term operation of the neutralisation stations, certain regular tasks are required.
The applicable rules on the installation site must be observed.
Regular inspection can be carried out by the user or by a specialist contracted by the user. We
recommend that you start by checking the installation at short intervals, then as may be required.
An inspection is mandatory at least every 6 months.
The maintenance tasks must be performed regularly in accordance with the fouling, the quantity of
fouling, the pH of the condensed water and at least once per year, failing which the warranty will
be cancelled. The maintenance operations must be performed by an approved installation company
having specially-trained personnel.

GB
After an extended shutdown period,
a pH value which is slightly greater
than the normal (10.5) may be
observed for a short period. Due to
the mixture, this will not have any
negative impact.
Neutralisation granulate
expended.
Granulate
blocked with deposits.
Due to an extended shutdown
period, for example during the
summer months, the granulate has
dried or clumped together.
The filtering screens are soiled.
At the boiler and smoke ducts,
condensed water or volumes of
condensed water which are very
different with respect to the
reference threshold may be
produced and thus require an
installation of a different size.
Risk of water damage! Clean or change the connections on damaged, old or
obstructed pipes. Check the tightness of the installation.
Only genuine condensation granulate should be used (see section C,
consumables)!

Corrective action
No action required. Check the
pH value after an extended
period of operation of the
condensing boiler.
If large mud deposits are
observed, clean the
installation (see
maintenance).
Fill with granulate.
Separate the granulate by
or
adding water and perform the
maintenance procedure if
required.
Clean the filter screens.
Adapt the size of the
installation to the condensed
water inlet volume.
On N210: Adjust the
granulate filling quantity for the
next capacity level.
pH > 10 less granulate
pH < 6,5 more granulate
